Difference between civil engineer and construction engineer.
Civil engineering and construction engineering are considered as different branches of engineering and candidate finishing the course work in some of the most important sector which has lots of job opportunities.
Some people are with the opinion that both are same and is used in the same context.
Civil engineering is mainly into designing , planning ,and implementing a particular site project, as per need of Clint.
Where as construction engineering students take basic design courses as well as construction management courses. Mainly focuses on construction method and procedures.
Key differences between civil and construction engineer .
1. Civil engineer are more into designing and construction engineer are more into implementation and management as well as basic design knowledge .
2. the academy and curriculam of these two engineering branches are some what similar and is sometimes used in the same context . One needs to have real talents to be successful in the career as a civil and construction engineer.
Some University like Jadavpur University offer construction engineering course as a part of civil engineering. They give us equivalent certificate of civil engineering.
Opportunities:
There are lots of opportunities available for both of civil engineers and construction engineer in government as well as private sector .some major private sector do not allow construction engineer as a civilengineer after qualifying GATE exam. After completing bachelor degree in construction engineering ,you can also further higher studies in civil engineering subjects.
